· Evaluate the 3 types/styles of documentary: expository, observational and participatory
· In terms of the practical work what went well, what could have gone better and why? (so the group documentaries and the interview)
· What techniques and styles of filmmaking will you use for your individual documentary project?

Observational Documentary
In terms of practical work when I was doing the observational documentary I found it quite hard because I had to direct , edit , film and produce it all by myself because my group wasn't helping me. What went really well was the editing because editing is my strong suit and when I had all the footage I structured it like it was an actual story , because it was observational I couldn't include things such as interviews and the objective couldn't speak to the camera , so what I did so that the audience could understand I added aspects such as voiceovers but instead of using my voice I used the objective voice (Kitch) because it made the documentary more authentic . In terms of the filming part of this observational documentary I found quite challenging because I knew exactly what I wanted to capture , it was just the matter of how I was going to capture it all by myself , I managed to capture a lot of footage , things that involved his everyday life , for example when I filmed Kitch in the recording studio , I wanted to make this video all about him and his life and what he goes through including where he comes from and what makes him who he is which in this case was music .
In terms of filming I think what would of gone even better was if I didn't film the whole documentary hand held there were shots where I could of used a tripod to add more stability to the camera , even though there was a firm grip , where I could hold the camera steady . In terms of editing I could of improved technically on the sound due to the fact , I had some feedback in regards to the sound where apparently I could of made it more of a smooth transition between the voiceover and normal sound in the background , and when the voiceover was played the music in the background could of been lowered a bit more to create less of a distraction , and then there could of been a bit more narration used because they wanted me to include a bit more about his life . Again with filming I could of improved the quality of the camera I filmed 75 percent of the documentary on my iPhone due to the fact the camera was having a few technical difficulties but it was only the performance towards the end that was filmed with my phone the rest was perfectly fine , and overall I believe it was a good observational documentary .
Another thing that went particularly well was the fact I knew exactly who and what my documentary was going to be about , and exactly how it was going to be structured in terms of the build up and what was going to be shown out of the all the documentary types I liked doing observational because it has been some of the best work I have produced so far , its at a professional standard in terms of filming editing , production and directing . I think everything went well accept for the fact that my group had very little involvement when it came to dividing roles and the production side of this documentary but I was ok with it because I produced good quality work. I think this defiantly the type of documentary I want to produce for my final documentary . There's a lot of aspects of this documentary that I'm pleased about one would defiantly be the professionalism about this type of documentary , I planned it well structured it well and the final product was good I got very positive feedback which I was pleased about because I spent a long amount of time editing an perfecting it .

Expository Documentary
With this particular documentary I really enjoyed making because its about a topic that relates to a lot of people , it was about Ex , social media and relationships , we went around the college and we used everyone a series of questions , and we captured their responses on camera we added aspects of interviews with visuals. As a group I believed we planned it very well to the extent were we know exactly what we are filming but when it came to actually filming we was the last group to actually film , which I believe made the final product turn out quite rushed due to fact we wasted a lot of time over thinking things , when we should of just gone out and film.
