DSLR – digital single lens reflex

Top left hand side is the dial

M stands for manual (f/5, f/6 etc.) – controls everything the aperture and shutter speed

The front dial controls the aperture

LCD – liquid crystal display

Shutter speed is the left one

Bottom left – file fine is the largest setting. – Top Jpg setting.

A – Aperture priority (setting the aperture) if it’s on A the front dial will control the aperture.

 The green button is auto – auto meaning the camera doing everything.

You can import settings

S – Shutter speed priority

P – Means pre – set.

 


 

 

Nikon D 100

Top left little button – you push that down to then move the bottom dial around.

FPS – Frames per second. (Out it on S it takes a single photo.

CL – 3 frames a second.

CH – Is 6 frames a second.

Play icon – is too view your photos (screen 3 and a half inches 0 press it and you can look at your images.

Menu – it controls everything in the camera setting wise

Second icon  down is the menu – camera icon you go right set picture control click ok then come up options vivid is the best colour option , monochrome is black and white.

Left hand side buttons – underneath is WB which is white balance everything will appear in your settings if you want to change anything use the back dial.

ISO – I its high it’s going to be very bright, left puts the iso up right puts the iso down.
