Media Industry

There's many ways to get into the media industry , there's a saying its not about what you know but who you know , I want to go into the media production side of the industry , because it involves editing and film making and producing which is exactly the route I am trying to follow. In the media industry they'll be loads of opportunities to work , but it wont always be paid work , which I believe is wrong because know one should ever work for free .
