Image result for mcdonalds picture advertThis an Advert made by Mcdonald's , in this image it clearly shows a before ,after and right after first of all we are going to be speaking about denotation which is clearly what you see also known as the apparent meaning , well what is shown is one of mcdonald's signature foods which is chips but they show a potato then what it then turns into which is golden fries , then they show what is left over from it , one single chip , what we can connote is that mcdonalds is implying that their fries are freshly made form potatoes and stacked tot eh very top , then they are suggesting by the right after picture that the fries are so delicious that only 1 chip is left standing.


The universal symbol for this mcdonald's advert is the slogan "i'm lovin it " implying everyone will love eating mcdonald;'s this links to the advert above because the picture clearly illustrates that the fries went from a full chip pack to almost empty. The first thing that most people are drawn to is the full stack of chips because it looks the most appealing and pleasing to the eye , the pack of chips is clearly the point of focus because it mid centre of everything surrounding .  Another thing you could point out is the stylistic codes for example the colour scheme which is mainly red , we can connote that mcdonalds is loving and all their food is made with love and care but we could also link back to the brand because the colour of the mcdonald's brand is red.


The logo for Mcdonald's could have hidden meanings for example the archies they symbolise a pair of nourishing breasts and the colour of those archies are golden which can link to the mcdonalds chicken , another thing the golden arches could represent is Mcdonald's fries. The lightning is fairly key when it comes to food adverts because they want to showcase their main product what they are trying to advertise which is the fires . In terms of framing and composition , everything is set and composed within just one frame , you can see what they are trying to portray , you can clearly see what they are trying to implying which is mcdonalds is mouth watering delicious .


The foreground meaning everything in front is a long shot because you can see everything because they have captured everything , in terms of focus everything from the foreground to the background is in focus so that the audience can see everything around just all 3 images . Overall the print advert is made so that more people will buy mcdonalds and its to show that simple step by step process in just three small step , prep fry and ear that basically what they are implying and also advertising . The slogan that is used for Mcdonalds which is "im lovin it" also could be known as Anchorage which is where a piece of text or phase could add more feeling to the image for example the slogan on the advert is illerstarting that the taste of id delicious.
