Questionnaire answer SUMMARY (13 people)
  • 100% of the people whom were asked did not own a smart watch.
  •  66.7% of people believed a smart watch cost around £400, whereas the remaining 33.3% believed it cost £120.
  • Students said they would like to have a phone because it looks cool, is more efficient and a good alternative to a phone.
  • 66.7% of people thought smart watches are used as an alternative to a phone, 16.7% of people believed it was an accessory, and the remainder of 16.6 found it useful for fitness.
  • 50% of pupils believed 18-22 year olds use smart watches the most, and similarly the other 50% believed it was used by 25-35 year olds.
  • A whole 100% of interviewed students believed Apple is the best smart watch brand.
  •  Moreover, 50% of people said the fitness app is the most useful, as well as the other 50% argued it to be the music app.
  • 66.7% of students would buy a smart watch according to its brand, whereas 33.3% of other students because of its price.
  • Finally, students believed that smart watches became popular because of their efficiency, display, fitness app and also because it is convenient and fashionable.



Questionnaire answer SUMMARY (7 people)
Differently to the students, a small portion of adults did own a smart watch, enjoyed it for the Google maps or fitness apps and found it helpful as well as fashionable. Additionally, they enjoyed that smart watches contain many features and are convenient, as well as clearly demonstrates how technology has evolved. Firstly, we asked the students for their opinion, however later decided that we need to ask an older audience as our target audience is of an older age.                                                         


1. 85.7% of adults do not own a smartwatch whereas 14.3% do.
2. 42.8% of adults believe that the price range is around £120, however 57.2%      believe it is around £400.          
3. Adults suggested that they would like to have a smart watch as it would make their life easier, helps track your fitness and is fashionable. 
4. 57.1% of adults believed smart watches are used for finess, and 42.9% believed it was best as an alternative to a phone.
5. 28.6% of teachers believed that 25-35 year olds use smart watches the most, however 71.4% were of the view that 18-22 year olds do.
6. 71.5% of teachers believed that Samsung is the best smart watch brand, and 28.5% chose Apple.
7. Moreover, a staggering 85.8% thought Google maps was the best app whereas alternatively, 14.2% argued it to be the music app.
8. 42.9% of teachers would buy a smartwatch according to its brand, and 47.1% would buy it for its price.
9. Finally, adults believe smart watches became popular because technology has evolved and an ordinary watch could not do that.
