Apple Advert Analysis (Moving Image)



The is a moving image advert for apple they are advertising IPhone 7 and apple watches , they include visuals of both products using different editing techniques and sound effects for example they showed the iphone 7 but they duplicated the image . To keep the Audience interested they have an extremely fast cutting rate , the advert is even titled "don't blink" because you will miss some information , if we refer to stylistic codes in terms of font , the majority of the advert is font , big bold words appear on the screen to illustrate what they are selling , the fast cutting rate keeps the viewer interested , it makes it more appealing and more exciting , because everything that is shown is moving at a fast pace.

The cutting rate actually goes a long with the music , the music is very upbeat this is so that the words go along with the beat , this makes the advert more authentic and more engaging clearly the first thing that the viewers will notice is the thing that stands out the most on the screen , the cutting rate is extremely fast .
In terms of Mise en scene everything is kept in one location for example there are no particular establishing shots shown in this advert , its at a very fast cutting rate there's a lot of information crammed into one , which makes it quite intriguing to watch overall .

This moving image advert is mainly aimed at a young target audience due to the fast cutting rate and obviously the product they are advertising which is a Iphone 7 , which is usually brought by the target audience between the ages of 16+ due to who the product is aimed at an old person would be able to keep up with the fast pace of the advert .

The editing in this video is quite complex because of the speed and effects used in this video usually moving adverts are quite basic but this video is more complex has more effects used in it . the fast track of the video could imply that you cant keep up with how good the Iphone 7 is .
